Affiliate disclosure

CartCortex earns income through affiliate partnerships. This page explains how that works in plain language so visitors can make informed decisions.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a tracked URL. When a visitor clicks one of our links and then signs up or buys something from the linked merchant within the merchant's tracking window (typically 30-120 days), the merchant pays us a small commission. The visitor pays the same price they would pay if they had typed the merchant's URL directly into their browser.

How affiliate commissions affect our content

Listings are ordered based on relevance and quality, not by commission rate. We do not hide poor products to avoid offending merchants we earn commissions from. If a listed product becomes worse, raises prices unjustifiably, or develops customer-service problems, we update or remove the listing.

If we ever fail to apply this policy, please tell us so we can correct the listing.

Networks we work with

Our affiliate links route through several established affiliate networks, including (but not limited to):

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). Visitors from outside the U.S. may have additional rights under their local consumer-protection laws.

Cookies

Affiliate links typically set a tracking cookie in the visitor's browser when clicked. These cookies are set by the merchant or by the affiliate network, not by CartCortex. They are used solely to track sign-ups originating from this site. See our privacy policy for more.
